Abuse is abuse

I read  story about the distance runner Frank Shorter who reported his story of abuse within his birth family.  I had a similar experience in my birth family and the pain experienced was relieved by running.  I realized today that when I perceive abuse, it touches me me in the same way as when I was beaten.  As the Church makes the arbitrary decision to change the English version of the Mass, the feeling that comes to me is the same.  This is so far from the love of God, that it isn't funny.   It is time for Catholics to stand up and say yes to the love of God.  It is time to be heard.
